Category theory including categories, functors, natural transformations, equivalences of categories, representable functors and universal properties, Yoneda Lemma, adjunctions, limits and colimits. Homological algebra including chain complexes and homology, Abelian categories and additive and exact functors, short exact sequences, injective, projective, flat and free modules and corresponding resolutions, derived functors, derived and homotopy categories.
